Denis Ferranti Group launch new Fracmo G63 geared motor

Since the acquisition in 2001 of Fracmo by the Denis Ferranti Group, and its relocation to the Ferranti site in North Wales, there has been substantial investment not only in manufacturing plant, but also new products brought to market, including a lighter duty G46 geared motor range, and heavy duty transaxle system.

The new G63 unit is compatible with Fracmo PM55 and PM62 motor ranges and ideal for use over a wide range of applications from mobility and recreational equipment, to light industrial and materials handling machinery. A range of customised gear ratios and output shaft options are available.

The G63 series optimises power, weight and strength and is designed to provide maximum rigidity and minimal running noise. Given it's power output range, (12Nm to 24Nm), it is compact, measuring only 64mm wide by 130mm deep and 172mm high. It is 'sealed for life' requiring zero maintenance and will operate between 12 to 180 Volts DC.
